Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management (BSHRM)

The program equips students with competencies related to the basic and core requirements of hotel and restaurant management as well as those associated with major and minor areas of concentration and elective courses. It provides students with the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitudes to provide quality service in the hospitality industry.

The program contains courses that will address the needs of different sectors in the hospitality industry, such as culinary, front office, tourism, and resort and hotel operations. Its primary concentration is on the development of practical and management skills which are achieved through the combination of theoretical classes, practicum exercises, and experiential learning.

 

Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Major in Human Resource Development Management (BSBA-HRDM)

This program aims to prepare the graduates for a career in the specialized field of Human Resource Development Management (HRDM), which is essentially found in the manufacturing and service industries. HRDM practitioners are in demand in industries such as advertising and marketing, pharmaceuticals, semiconductors, food and beverage, banking and finance, insurance, retail, business processing, and other types of organizations with large employee complements.

In general, the normal evolution of the human resource (HR) profession can be found in the various stages of development of an enterprise. As it grows, HR gets involved in the administrative processes to ensure consistency in the handling and management of people. Moreover, HR assists line managers in the right acquisition and development of skills and competencies of employees.

 

Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Operations Management (BSBA-OM)

This program is designed to provide students with knowledge and skills in enterprise processes involving product creation, development, distribution, and the substantial measurement and analysis of internal processes. The program instructs students on how manufacturing and service operations contribute to organizational strategy. Topics discussed in this course include product and process strategy, capacity planning, location and layout strategies, supply-chain management, and aggregate planning and scheduling. The program also covers topics in manufacturing, management of purchases, inventory, quality control, storage, logistics, and evaluation.

 

Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED) or the Bachelor of Secondary Education ( BSED)

The BEED is structured to meet the needs of professional teachers for elementary schools and special education programs in the Philippines and the BSED for the needs of professional teachers for secondary schools in the Philippines. The BEED program aims to develop elementary school teachers who are either generalists who can teach across the different   learning areas in grade school, special educators, or pre-school teachers. The BSED aims to develop high school teachers who can teach in one of the different learning areas in high school like mathematics, physical sciences, biological sciences, English, Filipino, among others.

 

Bachelor of Arts in Broadcasting

The program covers the discipline, principles, strategic planning, creation, and conceptualization of ideas, different writing techniques, and various platforms of reporting, producing, and disseminating programs through different broadcasting formats—radio, television, and fast- growing integrated media tools. The course covers several areas of expertise of production, current events, relevant issues, trends, entertainment, promotions, and advertising while aiming to develop an understanding of broadcasting and its value to and impact on society. Furthermore, this program puts importance on the study of the legalities and ethical standards and practices of the broadcasting industry and the mass media. It aims to equip students with the requisite knowledge, skills, and attitude, and a commitment to uphold professional ethics and standards in the practice of broadcasting, as well as the capacity to anticipate and respond to the needs of rapidly developing media.

 

Bachelor of Arts in Psychology

This program aims to equip students with the requisite knowledge, skills, and attitude of a career in psychology. Graduates of this program are expecting to make a commitment to uphold professional ethics and standards in the practice of psychology, as well as develop the capacity to anticipate and respond to the needs of developing society.

 

Bachelor of Science in Information Systems (BSIS)

The program includes the study of the application and effect of information systems (IS) on organizations. Graduates of the program should be able to implement an information system, which considers complex technological and organizational factors affecting it. These factors include components, tools, techniques, strategies, and methodologies.

Graduates should also be able to help an organization determine how information and technology-enabled business processes can be used as a strategic tool to achieve a competitive advantage. As a result, IS professionals require a sound understanding of organizational principles and practices so that they can serve as an effective bridge between the technical and user (including management) communities within an organization. This enables them to ensure that the organization has the information and the systems it needs to support its operations.

 

Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT)

The program includes the study of the use of both hardware and software technologies involving planning, installing, customizing, operating, managing and administering, and maintaining information technology infrastructure that provide computing solutions to address the needs of an organization. The program prepares graduates to address various user needs involving the selection, development, application, integration, and management of computing technologies. The graduates are expected to become globally competent, innovative, and socially and ethically responsible computing professionals engaged in lifelong learning endeavors. They are capable of contributing to the country’s national development goals.
