RESHAPING EDUCATION USING FLIPPED AND BLENDED LEARNING: “EDUCATING THE Y GENERATION”
Today, the way education delivered is becoming increasingly technology-driven. On-line collaboration, personalized learning, self-regulated assessment and knowledge building – collectively termed “21st century skills”. Skills, it seems, most of our students aren’t much getting in our school.
The seminar/workshop entitled “Reshaping Education using Flipped and Blended Learning:”Educating the Y Generation”” was held last November 5-6 2015. It was participated by Professors and Instructors of the Tertiary Education Department. Fresh and Interesting topics in the field of ICT was discussed by the Institute of Computer Studies chairperson – Mr. Angelito S. Lerit.
The tools and applications on this seminar-workshop will develop a diverse and stimulating learning environments for our teachers and students. Integrating ICT in education by using educational apps and tools will mediated communications, combined with a sound implementation of teaching theory makes cyberspace an excellent environment to provide educational opportunities to our dear students.
