The Graduate School of Education was first opened in SY 1972-1973 in Roosevelt College Marikina with Dr. Angeles delos Santos as its first dean. It operated in Marikina for 23 years under four deans.

In 1995-1996 the academic management of the Graduate School of Education, Roosevelt College System (RCS) was assigned to the Roosevelt College Foundation, Center for Teacher Education (RCF-CTE) in RC Cainta, whose Chancellor, at that time, was the late Dr. Antonio Isidro, and its Dean was Dr. Nelia G. Casambre.

However, in Summer 1997, the Graduate School of Education was reverted to the Roosevelt College System, under the Office of the President.

In 2002-2003 following CHED’s policy of “vertical articulation,” it was again turned over to the Roosevelt College Foundation with the late Dr. Ponciano M. dela Paz as Dean and Chancellor. It was in 2004-2005 that Dr. Carmelita U. Cruz took again the reins, having been its Dean in 1980, her first time.
