Aurelio R. Montinola III, chairman of the Far Eastern University (FEU) Group of Schools announced several appointments to its top management effective November 5, 2018.
“At FEU, we highly encourage cross-postings of officers ensuring that best practices are shared across campuses supporting the Future Ready- Learning programs laid out for all our schools,” said Montinola.
Dr. Alma Emerita V. de la Cruz is appointed Senior Vice President of Roosevelt College, Inc. (RCI). Dr. de la Cruz was Dean of FEU’s Institute of Accounts, Business, and Finance. Prior to joining FEU, she was Vice President for Academics at AMA Education System. She was an assistant professor at University of the Philippines (UP). She obtained her Ph.D. in Business Administration, Master in Management and undergraduate degrees from UP.
Maria Regina Corazon P. Sevilla Sibal assumes a new position at RCI as Executive Director of Basic Education. Ms. Sibal was the Executive Director of FEU High School and was instrumental in setting it up. Before joining FEU, she was Principal at Miriam College Nuvali. She is completing her Ph.D. in Educational Administration in UP Diliman where she also obtained her undergraduate degrees in Education and Computer Science.
She is a graduate of Philippine Women’s University (PWU), Master in Public Administration. She topped the 2004 Licensure Examination for Teachers. She was also awarded the UP Vanguard, Incorporated Achievement Award in May 2018.
Gillian Joyce G. Virata is the new Executive Director of FEU High School. Previous to this appointment, she was RCI’s Vice President for Academic Affairs. She was formerly the Executive Director of Basic Education at PWU-JASMS. She was also the Senior Executive Director of Information Technology and Business Process Association of the Philippines. She is a graduate of Georgetown University, Master in International Economic Affairs, and the Teachers College, Columbia University, Master in Education.
Supporting Virata at FEU High school is a new hire, Carmen Ma. Magdalena M. Luz as the Human Resources Manager. Ms. Luz worked in Quality Education Design as Human Assets Associate. She was Admissions Manager at Teach for the Philippines. She is a graduate of Nanyang Technological University, Master in Education Management.
