The Science and Mathematics Club merged to conduct an Outreach Program for the students with special needs at Concepcion Elementary School (CES). The Science Club is assigned for the Feeding Program while the Mathematics Club is assigned for the giveaways of school supplies

Last  January 30th they conducted their Outreach Program at 9:00 AM for the 105 students with short program, performance, and mini-games. Tacloband and Charlize & Friends sang different pop songs. The students of CES enjoyed the games by the club members, even if its just for a short period  of time. There were also talented students that performed during the program.

Everyone enjoyed the program. Some of the students at CED don’t want us to leave. They are so sweet and cheerful. The thing that I learned during our stay is that even though, they are students with special needs and attention, they are not at all different from us.

Jorge Mario Bergoglio or as we all known as Pope Francis Visited the Philippines last January 15-19, 2015 and took the Philippines by storm by touching everyone’s hearts.

Millions of people flocked the routes and venues of the Pope’s itinerary just to see and experience a once in a lifetime event seeing and greeting the Pope.

He visited and toured Manila and Tacloban during his stay in the Philippines. On January 16th, he held a mass in tacloban, the place which severely attacked by Typhoon Yolanda last 2013. On January 17th, he went to University of Sto. Tomas (UST). where in he had a special meeting with the youth. On Jan 18th, he held his last mass at Quirino Grand Stand where 6-7millions of Filipinos attended.

I, myself is one of the blessed ones to see the Pope up close. When I saw his face, all my exhaustion and waiting has been paid off. I felt the presence of Jesus Christ in his presence. I remember a tweet saying: Six million people attented one glorious event, not because of popularity but because of faith.
