CTE – BUWAN NG WIKA 2014

Filipino, Wika ng Pagkakaisa

Ipinagdiwang noong ika-28 ng Agosto taong kasalukuyan ang pagdiriwang sa BUWAN NG WIKA ng mga estudyante ng Roosevelt College Foundation Center for Teacher Education, mula sa temang “Filipino, Wika ng Pagkakaisa” naipakita ng mga estudyante ang pagbibigay halaga at pagkilala sa sariling wika at pakikiisa sa pamamagitan ng pasusuot ng mga damit Filipino.

 

 

Ang programa ay binuo ng mga pagbigkas ng tula, pag-awit at pakikinig sa mga mensahe mula kina Dekana Lily C. de Guzman at Propesora Angelita L. Sta. Ana. Binigyang diin ni Dr. de Guzman sa kanyang pananalita ang kahalagahan ng paggamit ng wikang Filipino sa pakikipag-usap at pakikipagtalastasan sa loob man o sa labas ng kampus ng Roosevelt College upang sa ganoon ay maging maayos na maihatid ang iniisip at niloloob ng bawat isa. Binigyang puna ni Propesora Sta. Ana ang maling gawi ng maraming estudyante sa pagsasalita sa Filipino na madalas ay hinahaluan ng Ingles o ang tinatawag na “code switching” sa kanilang pag-uusap o sa pagpapaliwanag, kaya itinagubilin niya sa lahat ang pagsasanay sa pagsasalita nang wastong Filipino sa lahat ng pagkakataon.

Ang ikalawang bahagi ng palatuntunan ay mga palaro at paligsahan na nagbibigay daan sa pagpapayaman ng wikang Pilipino. Nagkaroon din ng pagsasalo-salo ang mga estudyante ng mga pagkaing Filipino tulad ng mga iba’t-ibang kakanin na nagpapa alaala sa mayamang kultura ng Pilipinas. Hindi lang pagkain, pananamit o kasuotang Pilipino ang nagpatingkad sa paltuntunan kung di pati ang kasiyahan ng bawat isang dumalo na nagpadama ng pakikiisa dahil tayo ay mga Pilipino isang lahi na may isang pambansang wika-Filipino.
